Vicentana is a company that emerged as part of a long artistic process,
bringing together my experiences, knowledge, and dreams as a tango dancer
born in the Flores neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
My name is Silvana Núñez, and I believe that destiny connected me with tango
at a very young age, becoming one of my greatest passions and also, my
professional career. Thanks to it, today I am a dancer, teacher, choreographer,
and I have been able to tour stages worldwide proudly carrying part of our
national culture.
Driven by that same passion and with equal pride, I present Vicentana Tango
Shoes today, a new brand of tango dance shoes, made entirely in Argentina.
Vicentana is a product I planned, designed, and created exclusively, with shoe
lasts that were the result of exhaustive studies, a long production process, and
quality tests to guarantee excellent shoes. I called the best artisans in
Argentina to materialize the footwear that, in my opinion, combines comfort,
functionality, and design.
Vicentana is a tribute to my grandfather Vicente and my grandmother Ana, it is
a recognition of my 22 years as a tango professional, and a thank you to every
member of my family who has always been there for me. I hope you also
